The beautiful town of Taormina, famous for its ancient Greek theatre and spectacular views, is only a 10-minute drive or bus ride away. The [Hop-on Hop-off] bus stop for Taormina and Savoca is located in front of Lido di Naxos, just a 1-minute walk from the apartment.
Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe and one of the major tourist attractions, is easily reachable within an hour by car. You can also visit the Aeolian Islands by booking one of the boat trips organized by the excursion points in Giardini Naxos. The Giardini Naxos motorway exit and the Taormina - Giardini Naxos train station are less than 2 km away, making day trips to surrounding locations easy to arrange.
